Yet another awesome post! This is so true, I am learning to work on myslef before I nag lol.

One thing we want to be sure of is that we aren’t speaking negative about our Husband’s to anyone. Even if we are just venting. We don’t want to slander his name by “venting”.

Well hello my name is Andrea 😉 I love your blog its adorable 🙂 but boy oh boy God has been doing a lot of wonderful things in my life! The last few months have been crazy but honestly i would’t of had it any other way. Christ has shown himself to me over and over again throughout the last couple months and I am so thankful for that! <3

Hey lady! It finally worked!
A couple weeks ago I was struggling emotionally with the baby, almost to the point of post partum depression. I sought the Lord and BEGGED Him to show be what it was that I needed to learn. What was He teaching me? I knew it was for my good but at that point I was scared of hurting myself out one of the boys. I reached out to my husband, who do graciously listened and told be to call our nutritionist to seek help and call our midwife for counseling. I cried on his shoulders, then he asked me a simple question: “how have you been praying? Are you dying to self?” Oh my word! Of course I was praying for healing, but I was trying to be hyper spiritual about it. I learned a simple “help me, God!” is all it takes. I also recalled Mary and Martha when Jesus visited them in their home. God reminded me that He chose me, He ordained me, and He’ll equip me for this part/role of being a mommy. Ever since then, it hasn’t been easy but it’s definitely been *easier* than it was before. Now I remember to due to the flesh and bathe in the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the day. God is so good to His children, isn’t He? Praise be to God!!!

Honestly, I’m at a crossroads in my life where I can’t figure out what I believe in. I mean, of course I believe in God, but I feel like I doubt the institutional teachings I’ve received growing up (until now).

Nevertheless, I can say that God has not forsaken me, ever. As a kid, I knew the power of prayer–most of my wishes, as long as reasonable, came true. From wishes as simple as asking Him to make my teacher choose me as a leader for prayer in front of the school to asking for guidance on which contractor to choose for our home renovation, He never let me down. My life has not been the best from my perspective, mostly because I suffer from depression, but I know that He is always there for me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be where I am right now: He sent wonderful people into my life to help me get through life’s difficulties.

His timing is impeccable. I lost my job a couple months ago–when I’ve already been living with my bestfriend who cares for me more than I could ask for and when my relationship with my family has been healing. If this happened a year ago, I would probably be gone beyond reprieve. I’ve had a couple months to wallow in darkness and slowly build myself up again. I applied to several job openings and none called me back. Last week, I started feeling great with all the changes in my life (including new medicine that’s helping a great deal), and so today was the perfect day to receive a call about an interview with a company that I love.

God is amazing, isn’t He?
